I will dominate 'legitimate boxer' Paul - Anthony Joshua
The British boxer will face Jake Paul in an eight-round match which will be shown in real-time on the streaming platform.
Briton Joshua stated he will "dominate completely" the American and "overpower" his opponent as the combatants met personally to build hype for next month's boxing match.
Ex two time unified title holder Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a massive mismatch - at Miami Kaseya Center on December 19th.
Boxer's Attitude
"I plan to break his face and break his body up. I aim to demonstrate I'm superior," the British boxer, 35, declared.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's how fighters think.
"I intend to genuinely try to cause him pain. That's what I want to do."
Respectful Exchange
In spite of such comments, a calm Joshua and internet personality Paul - usually recognized for his theatrics - shared friendly words and remained civil with each other.
Jake Paul rather attacked ex Joshua's opponent the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "not serious" after Ngannou declined a bout proposal.
Targeting Fury
Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, targeted UK opponent Tyson Fury - and rejected a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' says he will place on a Paul win.
"Jake Paul is better than Fury - he showed up," the boxer said.
"I acknowledge that."
Legitimate Opponent
Despite stating he plans to punish Paul, Joshua refused to talk badly about his opponent's fighting skills.
"Jake Paul is a credible opponent," he said.
Jake Paul's History
Paul - who initially became famous on the Disney Channel - has primarily boxed MMA fighters or faded names since turning professional.
He lost to British fighter Fury in last year.
Financial Attraction
However, the relative newcomer is still one of the sport's greatest money-making draws, frequently receiving huge paydays.
Prediction and Confidence
The 28-year-old forecast a knockout win in round four or five and claimed he would stop the much-anticipated match between Joshua and Fury, which is apparently being planned for two years from now.
"It's going to be my match with Fury next year," Paul stated.
Physical Difference
As both boxers engaged in the traditional confrontation, with their size difference on show, it emphasized just how unlikely this complete situation is - and how remarkable it is that the match is truly happening.
